The Communications and Community Outreach team oversees communications, public relations, media relations, marketing, event planning, and educational and community outreach for Kern County Public Works.
Check out the upcoming events Kern County Public Works will be participating at for an opportunity to engage with community outreach staff, learn about department programs and services, and pick up educational resources and great giveaways!
Kern County Public Works also believes that education, at the elementary school level, can have a lasting impact on the future of our communities. Kern County Public Works, in partnership with The EcoHero Show, provide an interactive, environmental, music-and-dance based program to thousands of elementary-aged students each year.
